Darren, a native of Pottsville, PA, still resides there with his wife Carolyn and their two sons, Ryan and Owen. He's deeply rooted in his hometown, having graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 1997 before pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Finance at Penn State University, University Park, where he graduated in 2001.

Following college, Darren seized an opportunity to return to Pottsville, joining a regional bank as a branch financial advisor and insurance representative. However, his career trajectory soon evolved towards a focus on individual and business investment planning. In 2006, he transitioned to an independent LPL Financial office in Orwigsburg, PA. Subsequently, in 2009, Darren embarked on a new venture, co-establishing his own Raymond James office in Reading, PA, alongside former advisor Bill Schlitzer and current partner Tom Lutz.

Today, Darren, along with Tom Lutz and office manager Jacqueline Dekovitch, leads a Raymond James practice with offices in both West Lawn, PA, and Pottsville, PA. They specialize in tailoring financial solutions to meet the unique needs of families and businesses.

In 2011, Darren attained the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, showcasing his commitment to excellence in the field. Moreover, he holds various licenses, including Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66, enabling him to serve clients across multiple states, including DE, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, NC, OR, PA, SC, ME, IN, TX, TN, WI, MI, and IA.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Darren loves to play golf whenever he can as a way to relax and enjoy some time outdoors. He also cherishes spending quality time traveling with his family, exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories together.
